Stopover in Korea

Flying from Fiji to London with Korean Airlines enabled Elaine to catch a brief glimpse of Korean culture albeit at the futuristic airport of Incheon, some 50 km from the city of Seoul itself.

호텔 means ‘to the hotel’ in Korean and after a 10 hour flight with a further long haul of 12 hours to reach London, a stopover at the Hyatt Regency courtesy of Korean Airlines was bliss!

Some airport vignettes before take off:

A female quartet played classical music.

A colourful procession showed off national costumes with traditional musical accompaniment.
