Castlehaven, Thursday 12th June
We are anchored just south of the small yacht moorings, the sky is 70% clear of cloud, we are enjoying a pre dinner drink, and the scenery is just so special. This is what makes sailing so enjoyable, as the view we are enjoying is a one off. The east side of the harbour, steep rock cliffs covered with gorse, grass and ivy is bathed in soft sunlight. Further down the harbour, the sheer rock cliffs are also partly bathed in sunlight, and across on the western side, cows are grazing below a newly cut meadow which has been used for silage.
Good company, music and a stunning view, what more could one ask for?
